Cal-Adapt is a web-based climate adaptation tool developed by GIF in partnership with the California Energy Commission (CEC) PIER program. It provides access to downscaled global climate model projections for California, allowing users to explore localized data on temperature, precipitation, sea level rise, and wildfire risk at the county and watershed level.

The tool is designed to bridge the gap between raw climate science and practical planning needs, serving local governments, utilities, resource managers, and researchers preparing for the impacts of climate change in California.

Cal-Adapt is a flagship product of GIF and has been continuously updated since its initial release to incorporate the latest climate model data and visualization capabilities.
